BHUTAN - The Carbon Negative Nation

 Bhutan ceremoniously the Kingdom Of Bhutan, a small country landlocked between the top two most populated countries of the world is full of nature. The country situated somewhere high in the beautiful  Eastern Himalayas is conceivably the greenest nation of the world. Bhutan spreads approx. 15,000 miles & near about 70% of this nation is covered by forest. Well, that's not the only remark that makes Bhutan unique from other countries there are numerous things that all so-called developed as well as developing nations can learn from Bhutan. 

 Only Carbon Negative Nation In World

Bhutan's PM Tshering Tobgay had the goal of making his country a carbon-neutral. His main purpose was to make sure Bhutan doesn't contribute to the growing carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. He comes up with a new policy that in any condition 60% of the entire nation should always be covered with forest & it works great and today if Bhutan is producing nearly 1.5 million tonnes of carbon every year(which is negligible as compared to all the well known developed countries)  that's not a big deal because this country has nearly 5 times bigger carbon sink because of the immense greenery. So it's better to say that Bhutan is not a carbon-neutral in fact it is the only carbon-negative nation in the entire world. The Clean Bhutan and Green Bhutan campaign has beautified the country over the years. The government has also decided to go paperless soon. Well just imagine if all the so-called world power nations achieve the one-third of what Bhutan did our nature mother will return us a lot more what we need right now the most.

 भूटान औपचारिक रूप से भूटान के साम्राज्य, एक छोटा सा देश है जो दुनिया के शीर्ष दो सबसे अधिक आबादी वाले देशों के बीच आता है, यह प्रकृति से भरा है। सुंदर पूर्वी हिमालय में कहीं अधिक ऊंचा स्थित यह देश दुनिया का सबसे हरा भरा देश है। इस देश का लगभग 70% भाग जंगल से घिरा हुआ है। खैर, यह एकमात्र टिप्पणी नहीं है जो भूटान को अन्य देशों से अद्वितीय बनाती है, कई चीजें हैं जो सभी तथाकथित विकसित होने के साथ-साथ विकासशील राष्ट्र 
भूटान से सीख सकते हैं।

विश्व का केवल कार्बन नकारात्मक राष्ट्र

भूटान के पीएम त्सेरिंग तोबगे ने अपने देश को कार्बन-तटस्थ बनाने का लक्ष्य रखा था। उनका मुख्य उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना था कि भूटान वायुमंडल में जारी कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड को बढ़ाने में योगदान नहीं करता है। वह एक नई नीति के साथ आता है कि किसी भी हालत में पूरे देश का 60% हिस्सा हमेशा जंगल से घिरा होना चाहिए और यह बहुत अच्छा काम करता है और आज अगर भूटान हर साल लगभग 1.5 मिलियन टन कार्बन का उत्पादन कर रहा है (जो कि विकसित देशों की तुलना में नगण्य है। ) यह एक बड़ी बात नहीं है क्योंकि इस देश में अपार हरियाली के कारण लगभग 5 गुना बड़ा कार्बन सिंक है। इसलिए यह कहना बेहतर है कि भूटान वास्तव में कार्बन-तटस्थ नहीं है, यह पूरी दुनिया में एकमात्र कार्बन-नकारात्मक राष्ट्र है।
