Fossils of " Might Be The LARGEST Snake Ever " found in INDIA

Hidden beneath the earth's surface in Gujarat, a remarkable discovery has left scientists in awe. Unearthed by a team from IIT-Roorkee, a colossal serpent fossil has emerged, believed to be the largest snake to have ever slithered across our planet. This magnificent creature, named 'Vasuki Indicus' after the legendary snake king associated with Lord Shiva, is estimated to have existed approximately 47 million years ago. With a towering height of 36-49 feet and a potential weight of one tonne, it not only holds the record for being the longest but also one of the heaviest snakes in the history of human existence.

The excavation revealed a treasure trove of 27 vertebrae, some still preserved in their original positions as if frozen in time.

This astonishing find surpasses the previous titleholder, the Colombian Titanoboa, which had reigned as the largest snake in the world since its discovery in 2002. However, the sheer size of 'Vasuki Indicus' dwarfs its predecessor, solidifying its place as the true titan of serpents.

Given its immense stature, scientists speculate that this serpent would have been a formidable predator in its time. Its towering presence and colossal size would have instilled fear in the hearts of any creature unfortunate enough to cross its path.
